Envirochem offers environmental building consulting for a variety of green building programs and construction styles. While most firms specialize in only commercial construction we offer both while specializing in residential construction. Based on our extensive residential expertise and industry connections, Envirochem was named by the Canadian Green Building Council as a LEED for Homes Provider Organization, one of only 15 across Canada. Whatever building program or technique our clients maybe interested in, Envirochem is the industry's go to sustainable building resource.

LEED for Homes & Midrise: for residential & mixed use projects promote the design & construction of 3rd party verified high-performance green homes. A green home uses less energy, water & natural resources; creates less waste; & is healthier & more comfortable.

LEED NC: 3rd party certification of new construction & major renovations for commercial & institutional buildings etc (NBC Part 3). Certification awards for lower energy use, water use, material use, higher air quality, & innovative practices.

Built Green: for builder's who are CHBA members & have taken the training. Value is added to your home by promoting the use of practices that promote resource-efficient & environmentally friendly construction. All Built Green houses must complete an EnerGuide Rating.

Passive House: a response to global climate change & energy security issues. Annual heating/cooling energy represents 75–85% of the total lifecycle environmental impact of a building; Passive House seeks to achieve 80 - 90% energy savings over conventional construction through conservation.

EnerGuide: shows a standard measure of your home's energy performance. EnerGuide Ratings can be used on its own or with LEED, Built Green, R-2000 as well as other programs and can be used to clearly illustrate a home's performance to future buyers.

R-2000: aims to promote the use of cost-effective energyefficient building practices & technologies. Through the use of 3rd-party evaluators & a government of Canada supported certification process homeowners are assured of real value & consistency.
